Roatan community initiatives

Conquest originally spearheaded the initiative to offer their customers and our guests an opportunity to get involved in the Roatan community in a positive way.

HM Resorts collects donations of clothes, food and home and school supplies, from guests, for the orphanages in Roatan and La Ceiba. HM Resorts are proud to support Conquest in their efforts to provide education and adequate living arrangements for the children at the Roatan Childrens Home and Casa de Roc in La Ceiba.

Each Wednesday the staff at HM Resorts will take donated clothing and supplies and any guests who wish to visit the orphanages, along with food for the children.

This is by no means an organised tour and we do not wish to make a tourist attraction out of the orphans, however if you feel strongly that you want to spend time with the orphans and have donations to make, we would be happy to facilitate your visit.

If you want to donate new or used clothes, please ensure that they are summer clothes only as the weather here is never cold.
